... It offers accommodation providers the one thing listings websites and online booking systems can't - the opportunity for you to contact potential guests directly.

  • Your details will be displayed to potential guests, only when you let us know that you have a suitable vacancy matching their enquiry.

How does Get Back to Me work?

  1. A potential guest enters their booking requirements on the Get Back to Me website. These are instantly matched against all our registered businesses.
  2. When your business matches a request, you will receive an automated phone message giving the enquiry details.
  3. If you want to take the booking, follow the phone message instructions and your contact details will appear on the map in front of the guest. One credit (costing 25p) will automatically be deducted from your account.
  4. In addition, guests have the option to include their phone number, enabling you to call them directly. In this case two credits will be automatically deducted (at a cost of 50p).
  5. If you can't take the booking, simply select the 'Fully booked' option on your phone and there will be no charge.
  6. Guests will be shown a maximum of 4 options matching their requirements.

The whole process takes just 2 minutes.

Who can register?

We are currently able to register the following types of accommodation providers:

  • Bed and Breakfast businesses, small independent hotels, guest accommodation (guest houses), Inns, pubs and restaurants with rooms, all with 20 rooms or less.
  • Serviced apartments or similar may be considered if breakfast hampers are included.
  • We do not inspect all registered businesses, but we only accept providers with the equivalent to 3* facilities and above. The majority of your rooms must have en suite or private bathrooms.

As a business, you do need to register with Get Back to Me in order to receive phone messages.

  • Fill in the short registration form.
  • Upload an image of your choice.
  • Write a short description.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your details have been checked.

  • You are under no obligation to continue or to buy further credits at any time.
  • When you run low on credits simply log on to your account and top it up.
  • You will be invoiced for your credits.
  • There are no additional booking fees or commission charges.

As a business, why should I register with Get Back to Me?

Whether you run an independent hotel, guest house or B&B, your overwhelming need is a constant stream of new guests to keep your rooms full and your business profitable. Additional questions asked by accommodation providers

  • Our rate is £100 per person for B&B. We wouldn't want to book guests expecting a £30 pppn rate.
    Of course, just listen to the budget quoted in the voice message, and if it's not in your range, select the 'fully booked' option.

  • Our business is only seasonal, can we still register?
    Yes! If you're closed or going away, let us know and we'll switch your account to 'inactive' and you won't receive any requests, we'll switch you back to 'active' when you say.

  • We've been upgraded to 4* can we change our description?
    Yes! You can log on to change or update your information at any time.

  • I've forgotten my password!
    Drop us a line at info@getbacktome.co.uk, we'll send it to you.

  • What happens if someone submits a request at say, 3 a.m.?
    Don't worry, any enquiries made after 9.30pm will be put on hold till 8am - and we'll send the enquirer an e-mail informing them of that.

  • Who uses Get Back to Me?
    It's perfect for guests staying in your area for a specific reason, whether it's a family wedding, sporting event, festival, conference, business meeting or to visit a local attraction. May be you're on a coastal footpath or long distance cycle route, the list is endless.

  • I have a self-catering cottage to let, can I register?
    Not yet, Get Back to Me will be expanding into self-catering in the near future. Send us an e-mail with your details, and we'll let you know when you can register.
